Giraffe Web Cams

Many zoos have giraffe cams that allow you to watch giraffes without ever leaving your computer.  You can even view giraffes all over the world.

When you visit a zoo's giraffe cam page, you will usually see an image of the giraffe or giraffes in view of the camera. This image will normally be a few minutes old. The refresh times of the cams can vary from site to site, but normally the giraffe cam picture will update after a few minutes. Many of the camera images show somewhere on the screen a time when it was last updated as well as local information such as temperature and weather conditions.

If you are viewing the giraffe cam at nighttime, you may see an archived image from earlier in the day or the screen may just be dark. Most giraffe cams do not have a lighted environment that would allow you to view them clearly at night.

Giraffe cams and other animal cams provide excellent opportunities for children to observe and learn about animals without the necessity of a field trip and also for giraffe lovers of all ages.

Here are a few listings for giraffe cam sites on the web. Enjoy!
